The return is contested too. The 10,000× is a line-bet figure, not a stake multiple. Britain's £5 cap across 20 lines holds the line bet at £0.25, so the max win per spin tops out at £2,500 — 500× a £5 spin, not 10,000× it. The one thing a demo cannot rehearse is pace. International listings of this game still advertise Autoplay: Yes; a British build cannot carry it. Three or more Sphinx scatters award 15 free spins with every win tripled; scatters retrigger up to a 180-spin cap. The catch, confirmed in a UKGC operator's own game terms: five Cleopatra wilds — the top pay — is excluded from the ×3, and a line of only Cleopatras gets no wild doubling.
At twenty lines something pays on 35.88% of spins; a separate run by the same lab lands at 35.8%. Outside the wild nothing pays above 750 × the line bet for five. NetBet and PlayOJO call it low to medium volatility, Paddy Power medium.
IGT has built the name out repeatedly — Cleopatra II, Cleopatra Gold, MegaJackpots Cleopatra and more. We publish no return for any: every figure found is single-source, conflicting by three points or more. What is on the record is qualitative — an IGT representative in a UK-facing forum put the original as paying smaller amounts more often, the sequel as bigger but rarer.

The nine is the odd one out. Two matching symbols pay on the Cleopatra, the scarab, the lotus and the 9 — and on nothing else. The 10, J, Q, K and A all need three. The reel-strip combination table confirms it: a genuine design oddity, not a misprint.
The wild is equally particular. Cleopatra substitutes for everything except the Sphinx and doubles any win it completes — except a win made only of Cleopatras, which is paid straight, and two wilds on a line never compound. In the free spins that doubling stacks with the 3× for 6×, yet a wild-assisted five-scarab (750 to 4,500) still lands under the untripled top pay.

Under two pounds of reward for sixty-six pounds of turnover: not a bad offer, a measurable one. Then read the conversion cap, because it meets this game head-on.
